Descisions, decisions....

Sat Jan 29, 2005, 4:07 PM
I really hate this. I have to devide whether I want to get some various things for my car (exhaust, turbo upgrade, fuel upgrade...) or get a Canon Digital EOS. It's really tought, I've only got enough money for one or the other, and it really sucks.
One one hand, I'll have a car that is way more capable drifting on the track, and on the other I will have a camera that I can take tons more photos without having to have them developed. It's really kicking my ass. My wife says get the camera, but she doesn't truly understand the obsession I have for drifting. Ah well, in the end I will have to make a decision no matter what. blah....

Just saying Hi to guys next door. found you off of the neighbors button.

noticed you like William Gibson. i like him, a bit dark for me but i love his characters.

I believe Neroumancer was a major influence for the Matrix. Of course anyone who reads it can see that.
(Now i am wondering if i am thinking of the right author.)

anyways. its nice to know a reader lives nearby.

Yeah, I always felt they forgot to give credit to Gibson, there's an obvious connection.

They tried to get away with it when they said there was so much meaning in everything that they couldn't give credit to any single source...

Another influence, and maybe even a better read, is the book Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson (not sure if i spelled the name right.
